How do I open daub from anywhere?
Use the app shortcut ⌥ Space to open daub. It appears instantly so you can capture a thought without leaving your current flow.
Why does the shortcut not respond?
Make sure daub has the permissions it needs in macOS and that the shortcut is not conflicting with another app. Restarting the app after changing permissions usually helps.
Does daub sync or upload my notes?
No. daub is intentionally local-first. Your notes stay on your machine and the app is built to avoid accounts, cloud sync, and background data collection.
How do I clear everything and start fresh?
Use ⌘K to clear the current canvas. daub is built for fast capture, so starting over should always feel immediate.
How do I contact support?
